In 2019 we developed the 2CLEAR System for aesthetic orthodontics, a new hybrid approach that combines the world’s thinnest, most aesthetic orthodontic bracket that doubles as an aligner attachment during aligner therapy. In 2020 we became the CASPR Group’s representative to the dental market, bringing Continuous Air and Surface Pathogen Reduction to dental practices throughout the U.S.

Dr. Dr. Friedrich Widu
CLINICAL LEAD AND CO-FOUNDER
Dr. Friedrich Widu is an orthodontic specialist, inventor and entrepreneur who has spent more than twenty years in clinical practice. He opened his first practice in 2001 and currently operates a chain of 6 clinics, including two MVZ Smilike practices in Berlin and Hamburg which exclusively focus on adult treatment with aligners. Dr. Widu is an early adopter of Invisalign and one of their largest customers in Europe, regularly treating 400 patients per year.
Dr. Widu completed his dental training and went to do his doctoral thesis at the University of Bonn. From 1997 to 2000 he served as a research assistant at the Polyclinic for Orthodontics of the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf under Prof. Drescher, winning the Science Award of the German Society of Orthodontics (poster prize) along with this teammates.
A sought after speaker, Dr. Dr. Widu regularly lectures at industry events and teaches courses on the topics of aligner therapy, lingual orthodontics and the 2Clear System.
Dipl.-Ing. Ruedger Rubbert
CO-FOUNDER, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Ruedger Rubbert is a serial entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in inventing new technologies and managing technology delivery and manufacturing organizations. Ruedger is listed as an inventor on over 100 software and medical device patents in the U.S. and the European Union. He has founded four medical device companies including OraMetrix, acquired by Dentsply Sirona (NYSE:XRAY) and Lingualcare, acquired by 3M Company (NYSE:MMM).
He was a principal and co-founder of Natural Dental Implants and Lingualcare, and the primary inventor of the Company’s technology. Prior to Lingualcare, Mr. Rubbert founded OraMetrix, an orthodontic technology company, where he served as CTO and General Manager. He was a primary inventor of many of OraMetrix key technologies and served as principal leader of the company’s research and development efforts. The intra-oral 3D-Scanner Mr. Rubbert invented while leading the R&D efforts with OraMetrix won the technology award (Innovationspreis) of the German States Berlin and Brandenburg in 1998. Mr. Rubbert holds a degree in tool making and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Technische Universität Berlin. Both degrees were received with distinction.
Dr. Christian Schultz
CHAIRMAN OF THE SUPERVISORY BOARD AND CO-FOUNDER
Dr. Christian Schultz has had his own practice as an orthodontist since 2001. He is also a member of several German and international orthodontic societies and has been on the TOP list of doctors in the Focus news magazine since 2012. Dr. Schultz has co-authored standard works in orthodontics, which have been published in several languages. He has a university degree in dentistry, a specialist degree in orthodontics and received his doctorate from the long-standing president of the German Society for Hospital Hygiene.
Dr. Christian Schultz has been an orthodontist, entrepreneur and investor for over twenty years. In 2013, Dr. Schultz was named “Business Angel of the Year” in Germany. He actively invests in medical technology and digital companies in Europe and has been a member of the “Heaven of Fame” Honorary Gallery of the Business Angels Netzwerk Deutschland since 2013.
